Description

Beginning in 1972, the USPS has issued a "Commemorative Panel" of each of its regular and Christmas stamp issues. A Commemorative Panel is an 8.5 inch X 11.25 inch sheet, on handsomely printed paper, that describes the stamp issue and usually features an unused, unhinged, 4-stamp block of the stamp itself. Collectors find these panels highly desirable, and even suitable for framing. On April 26, 1978, the Postal Service issued a set of 4 13-cent stamps that honored four types of American dance. They are: theater, modern, ballet, and folk. This panel carries the 4 13-cent stamps ($0.52 in unused postage) in unused, unhinged form in a plastic sleeve. The panel is in its original wrapping and has never been opened! This panel is number 94 in the series. This historic and attractive panel would be a wonderful addition to any collection!
