This is a collection of commemorative stamps for President John F. Kennedy, of the United States. The stamps are from 4 different countries and there are 8 stamps. They all look to be mint-never hinged and are in protective sleeves. Dad had them attached to a sheet of paper, but 2 are loose from the paper now and it looks like a couple might actually be missing from where they were originally attached. Here's what is included in this group: --Yemen 3 large, square (on a diamond), Air Mail stamps. Arabic print but "John F. Kennedy" and "Yemen Arab Republic" are in English. The stamps are 50mm wide and are multi-colored. They are images of Kennedy with various spaceships and satellites (Sputnik). Denominations are 1/4B, 1/3B and 1/2B. I think the date on these stamps is 1963. --Panama 2 stamps issued in 1965. "Correos". The denomination is the Balboa B/0.005 denomination is orange and shows Kennedy on PT boat 109 B/0.01 is a red/pink and shows Kennedy looking into a space capsule. Both stamps are in portrait orientation and measure 3 cm wide x 5 cm high. --Togo 2 stamps issued with the same image of Kennedy and the Olympic President by the US Capitol. 1962 0.50 fr. denomination. gold color 1 fr denomination. Blue color. Both stamps are landscape orientation and measure 4.5cm wide x 2.8cm high. --Colombia A single Aereo (air mail?) stamp. 10 cent denomination with the image reading "Aleanza Para el Progreso" to the left and "John Fitzgerald Kennedy (with birth/death dates) to the right. Grey color. Measures 4cm wide x 3cm high.
