1990 Dwight D. Eisenhower Sc#2513 USPS Commemorative Panel (CP357) Scott Specialized Catalogue of U.S. Stamps & Covers : Commemorative Panel No. CP357 Postal Service Guide to U.S. Stamps : Lighthouses: No. 356 American Commemorative Panels have been issued by the United States Post Office for every commemorative stamp beginning with the 1972 Wildlife Conservation Issue (#1464-1467). The 8½ x 11¼-inch panels are printed on card stock with beautiful engraved vignettes on issues before 2002 or with photo-engraving and artwork on subsequent issues. The panels include text related to the stamp’s subject and a mint block of four stamps in a stamp mount (strips and larger blocks have been provided for certain issues). The text often provides information about the subject that will not be found in any other philatelic source. The panels add another dimension to one’s stamp collection and are often framed and mounted on walls or displayed on desks. The are available by subscription and are listed in the Scott catalogue under Commemorative Panels with the Scott prefix (CP). In The Postal Service Guide to U.S. Stamps they are listed with the Postal Service’s numbering system which is a straight sequence-of -issue number e.g. 78,79,80, etc. You will receive the page that you see in the scan in a crystal clear, acid-free bag for protection and shipped in as a USPS flat with stiffeners. Shipping costs include the USPS postage costs plus a handling fee to cover shipping materials.
