Click Pictures to Enlarge :: Description Up for your consideration today, is a 1989 Montana Commemorative Statehood 25¢ USA Postage Stamp- 2401- 3 Stamps. These stamps are in nice collectible condition, and have not been used. These stamps are from a local estate sale and are being listed in the exact condition that they were in at the time I acquired them. The stamps are Ungraded and are being sold AS-IS. The back of the stamps have a shiny patina and are still nice for collecting. It was requested by the Montana Statehood Centennial Commission that the stamp use artwork created by renowned Montana artist Charles M. Russell, even though Bradbury Thompson designed the stamp itself. The painting that they chose was C.M. Russell and Friends, which was a massive 43-inch by 81-inch artwork, that Russell himself referred to as being just a “poster.” This would make a nice group of stamps for collecting, displaying, crafting, or scrapbooking. A must-have for any serious collector or for anyone who is looking to collect stamps. Perfect for anyone who loves to collect Montana themed items. I will very carefully and tediously package these items up with extreme care so that the package withstands it's travels while in transit.
